Due to a scheduled maintenance of the power and cooling systems in one of the data centers hosting some of our secondarymetabolites.org services, those services will be unavailable from Friday (May 4th) afternoon (European time).
We will use this opportunity to also do some maintenance work ourselves once power is restored. We expect most affected systems to be back late Monday (May 7th).
Affected services are:
- bacterial antiSMASH
- fast mode bacterial antiSMASH
- the antiSMASH database
- PatScan UI
- CRISPy-web
- the MIBiG database
- secondarymetabolites.org downloads
- WebTools
We'll be updating this post on Monday to give some updates on the services coming back.
UPDATE 2018-05-08 09:43 CEST
Unfortunately our storage controller suffered a hardware outage, and we're waiting for the replacement part to be delivered. Until that happens, we unfortunately can't provide reliable service for bacterial antiSMASH and the antiSMASH database.
All other secondarymetabolites.org
services affected by the outage have been
restored.
We're hoping to have the affected component replaced today or tomorrow. We should be fully up and running shortly thereafter.
UPDATE 2018-05-09 14:38 CEST
All services are back up and running normally.
